Description: I was struggling with how to present this song until I purchased a Daisy Rock Retro 12-string electric guitar. Once I put the guitar together with the song, the rest fell into place. In 2006, I organized and directed multiple ensembles to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Food and Drug Administration (the "day job"). Most of the FDA volunteers were singers, so I organized and directed an FDA Centennial Chorus. I also organized and FDA Centennial Blues Band and an FDA Centennial Woodwind Quintet. Wendy Cheng organized an FDA Centennial String Quartet. We performed for award ceremonies, picnics, and the big FDA Centennial Celebration in June 2006. Having access to the chorus inspired me to compose, arrange and record the chorus part. Carpe Diem!
