Want to enter our video contest? Here's how it works:
- Make your CoVideo while sheltering in place
- Register for an account on StreamCatcher and read about the contest rules
- Submit up to 3 videos of your original songs
- You will receive an email once the video is approved and ready for voting
- Visit the contest page to rank the videos and tell your friends to do the same
- Winners announced at the end of contest
Rules & Prizes
The contest is open for submissions during the month of April and open for voting from April 10 to May 15. The contest is open to all original artists that have not made more than 5k (annually) in royalties from their music.
We encourage new videos made during the isolation and for the audience it creates. Videos may not exceed 5 minutes. Videos must not be a copyright violation of any kind.
Tips for submission: YouTube links are best. If you post from another social media platform, set your permissions to the most public possible to make it work. The entrant is solely responsible for assuring that the link to their song works. In the description field, include information you want to share – in addition to info about the video, you could include your website, for example.
SAW is the sole judge of entry validity and who has won the contest. The decisions of the judges are accepted as final as part of entering this contest. We will do our best to interpret the votes of the audience to determine any winners. The SAW judges will decide all questions and ties.
There will be a $1,000 grand prize and two runner ups will receive $250 apiece.
